WHAT IS BYRDIE BAR?
Byrdie Bar is a full service bartending company. We launched in 2020 with our trailer bar, The Byrd, and have now expanded our offerings to The Brew Byrd, our tap van, and nine multiple portable bar options as well as a collection of customizeable add ons.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
We include 30 miles of round-trip travel from 48072 in the rental. However, we do go farther! Events outside of our home base will be an additional charge of $2/mile there and back. Shoot us a message and we can customize a quote depending on your location.
WILL the byrd OR BREW BYRD FIT IN OUR VENUE?
The Byrd measures in at 16ft long, 8ft 3in tall, and 7ft wide with her serving window extending another 3ft. We will need enough clearance to drive up with the tow vehicle, and pull away once she is disconnected. Brew Byrd measures in at 6ft wide, 13.5 ft long and 6ft 8in tall. For help determining if either will fit in your event space, reach out to us.
WHAT DO THE BARS REQUIRE FOR SETUP?
All of our bars require flat ground for setup and service. Rental of The Byrd requires one standard outlet or use of a generator. We have 50ft extension cords and can bring additional if needed.
WHAT KIND OF EVENTS CAN I RENT THE BARS FOR?
You name it – we do it! Weddings, Birthdays, Rehearsal Dinners, Graduations, Corporate Events, Showers, Holiday Parties, Product Launches, Store Openings, Retirement Parties, Backyard Hangouts, Brunches, Family Reunions, Festivals, etc.
DO YOU HAVE A LIQUOR LICENSE?
The state of Michigan does not allow a liquor license without a brick and mortar location, which means unfortunately, we can’t provide the booze. We will however work very closely with you to create your perfect drink menu and estimate how much beer, wine, and alcohol you will need. We can call the approved order into our preferred vendor, and get you your liquor at retail price, with no additional markup, but the host of the party will have to make this purchase separately from Byrdie Bar.
DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE?
Yes, we carry Liquor Liability and General Liability Insurance, as well as all of our bartenders are all up to date on their TIPS certifications, a Michigan alcohol server training that ensures responsible alcohol service, professionalism, and customer service skills. We also can add your venue to our insurance as an additional insured if requested.
DO YOU HAVE A RAIN DATE POLICY?
Unfortunately, due to our advanced booking model, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to rain. In the event of rain, we are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for our bars.
DOES MY drink PACKAGE INCLUDE ALCOHOL?
No. Based on our conversation in regards to your event, we’ll estimate how much beer, wine, and liquor you will need. You buy the alcohol, but we do all the work. We’ll prepare a detailed list for you to look over that will include the best brands to buy that won’t break the bank—once it’s approved and paid for, we handle the rest (including delivery to your venue).
WHAT ABOUT MIXERS?
We buy and coordinate delivery of all mixers, syrups, garnishments and drinkware for your event. The cost is included in your quote.
CAN YOU SERVICE A NON-ALCOHOLIC EVENT?
Absolutely! We are happy to provide services for any type of event and provide non-alcoholic beverages ranging from sodas, iced coffee, iced matcha, mocktails, and more.
HOW EARLY DO I NEED TO BOOK?
The early BYRD gets the worm…er, cocktails in this case. We suggest reserving your date as soon as possible. Even if your event is coming up soon, still reach out – we can always let you know if your date is still available. We do require a signed contract and a non-refundable 40% deposit to book your reservation, with the remaining balance due one month before your event date.

Byrdie Bar is staffed by a team of working bartenders who are TIPS certified and have worked in high-volume bars around the states. Our team is dedicated to their craft of cocktails and the important element of hospitality. We are here to not just serve you a delicious drink, but to make your meaningful event, memorable.
